Ocean Park Ford Health and Safety Action Plan

Health and Safety Officers – Our officers are responsible for reviewing the measures we have taken and re-assessing on a weekly basis.  They are also responsible for ensuring the appropriate communication to dealership personnel. We hope to ensure the best standard of cleanliness and staff health and safety are practiced.

In-Store Community Safety Information – Our community safety communications plan is in place at all dealerships, including posters outlining handwashing techniques, prevention and best practices.

Sanitization Plan – We have Increased sanitization of all high-traffic area touchpoints within all dealerships to multiple times a day, in addition to our regularly scheduled cleaning.

Loaners and Test-Drive Vehicle Preparation – All hard and soft surfaces inside service car loaners and test-drive vehicles are vacuumed and wiped down each time a guest or staff associate uses a vehicle.

Service Work Preparation – Customer vehicles for service in-store are outfitted with steering wheel covers and seat protectors prior to maintenance or repair work, plus all Ocean Park Ford technicians are required to wear disposable gloves when working on vehicles.

Sanitizer Locations – We have equipped all dealerships with additional hand sanitizer dispensers for guests and staff associates to sanitize hands throughout the day.

Discontinuation of Shared Foods – All complimentary snacks and drinks have been discontinued.

Travel Restriction – No unnecessary business travel by team members. Staff are required to advise the management of personal travel destinations so the company can make necessary arrangements.

Hand Etiquette – As outlined by health officials, Ocean Park Ford team members practice frequent hand washing and refrain from handshaking.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperating during these rapidly evolving times. We remain open for business with a reduced staff to ensure we are mitigating exposure to customers and employees, and will continue to work hard to earn your trust and loyalty.
